A downloadable game for Windows and Android

In this VR game you drive a toy car along the road made of toilet paper. The road can be used only once because it's on fire, so hurry up and don't spend too much time off-road!

This short game is made for the VR jam 2022 in Unity.

I worked on it alone and this is my very first video-game! πŸ™Œ

The game runs as an .apk for Meta Quest 2. I added PC VR support after the end of VR jam.

This game may feel difficult at first but it becomes more fun with every try.

⚠️ Don’t forget to set the β€œD” gear and accelerate quickly at the very beginning πŸ˜‰

Install instructions

During the VR jam I only had time to work on the standalone Quest 2 version. As of the PC VR version, I added it a few days after the end of the competition so that more people would be able to play One-time road.

Quest 2

You have to upload the .apk to your Quest 2 headset in order to play. You can do it using Oculus Developer Hub or through Sidequest.

PC VR

Download, unzip game files and then run the executable.
I tested it with HTC Vive Pro 2. I assume that it should work with Valve Index too.

A nice idea.

I did find it difficult to stay on the road as the steering didn't seem to react correctly (I was playing the Quest version).

Great work for a game jam.

Thanks for sharing.

Here's my effort

Thank you for playing and for your feedback πŸ™Œ

I wanted to make steering realistic with the need to switch hands when you turn. It may not be intuitive in VR but it feels interesting. Sadly I didn't have time to add a tutorial level explaining this.
